ellen rogers


i am so fascinated with her work..
i think her pictures look like advertising for a cult in the 1800s

Agreed.

It looks very eerie yet dreamy. Do you know how she got that cloudy coloured look? Very effective, and only adds to the emphasis of the subject matter

yeah she uses all different kinds of film cameras, mostly analogue, and does her own dark room developing, with her own home made chemicals..so its all pretty experimental
